Since 1 January 2005, Pro Arbeit – Kreis Offenbach – (AöR) has been the municipal job center responsible for providing basic benefits for jobseekers in the area of Social Security Code II (SGB II) for the Offenbach district.
As a municipal job center, it is their legal mandate to support people in social need. The main tasks are to provide benefits to secure the livelihood of benefit recipients and to support their integration into the labor market so that they can support themselves from their own resources in the long term.
Pro Arbeit’s employer service offers holistic, customer-oriented support for companies in the regional labor market – with a comprehensive range of services relating to the placement of qualified applicants.
The European Project Management (EPM) is a young innovative team of Pro Arbeit, created for the implementation of transnational projects that enable our organization to participate at the European level. Not only the team is part of the consortium in various projects, but it also bring experience and expertise to the European bodies working for a social and engaged Europe.

VsI (public body) Socialiniu inovaciju centras (SIC) is non-formal adult education centre operating from 2009. SIC is seeking to create, adopt and implement various innovative social initiatives in the field of social work and non-formal education providing services both to professionals (post-graduated social workers, nurses, teachers, etc.), volunteers and disadvantage, vulnerable and socially excluded groups (young people including with special needs, long term unemployed, families and individuals at risk, disabled, migrants, ex-prisoners, etc.).
- SIC creates and/or adopts new psychosocial services for the target groups; provides them with information, counselling and educational activities; initiates, participates and implements both local and international projects in the field of social work and non-formal education of target groups.
- SIC provides information, counselling, non-formal education and training for professionals, volunteers, social partners and communities.
