An executive summary of the 70 pages-long transnational research report, which summarizes the results and findings from the desk and field research conducted in 7 European countries: Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Germany, Lithuania, Spain, and Portugal. The executive summary depicts the current landscape of employment for autistic individuals across Europe, aiming to shed light on the unique challenges, opportunities, and support needs of autistic adults in the workforce. Based on these findings will be developed the first major project resource: the TalentED Handbook. It will provide valuable information, promoting deep understanding on autistic adults’ strengths and weaknesses, fitting jobs & positions, labor market opportunities, proper educational & career paths and learning preferences, allowing the design and provision of effective, tailored and attractive upskilling, activation and guidance opportunities for autistic adults.
